[09/05/2010] What is a laminating pouch carrier?

The carrier is similar to a file folder and is run through the laminator, together with the item in the pouch; it has a special coating on the inside, which prevents the pouches from wrapping around the rollers of the laminator or the adhesive getting onto the rollers. The carriers also ensure that the print is held straight during the laminating process; as with the pouches, different sizes of carriers are available from the smaller, credit card size, to double letter size pouch carriers.
