[09/05/2010] What size laminating pouch is the best?

The laminating pouch should be chosen according to the dimensions of your print; the pouches come in standard sizes that are meant to fit 8 ½" x 11" letter size prints, as well as legal documents with a 1/4" border. Of course, larger or smaller pouches are also sold for items like ID cards, business cards, driving licenses, school cards, ID tags, photos and many others; custom pouches can also be made, but they are usually more expensive.

When choosing the pouch size, you should choose one that is at least 1/8", but preferably 3/16", larger than the print on all sides.
